New Year’s Eve in Gisborne is special. 26,000 attendees welcomed 2025 to clear skies after what was a muddy final 24 hours to the year. But that didn’t stop the party.

Highlights included magical performances from SIR DAVE DOBBYN, CORRELLA, SACHI, through to international performances from CHARLOTTE PLANK, LUUDE through to GIRL’S DON’T SYNC.

And of course, the New Year’s Eve final countdown video was a huge hit for the 26,000 attendees who braved some of the most trickiest of festival conditions of recent times. It will surely go down as one of the most memorable festivals.

Over 17,000 campers stayed at R&V Onsite Camping this year, making this one of the largest campgrounds in New Zealand.
