MTron has been a radio and club DJ for longer than she cares to remember – from her humble beginnings on student radio 95bfm hosting her own Saturday night eclectic electronic music show ‘No Sleep Till Bedtime’ she has gone on to support some of the finest musical talent from around the globe including Audion, DJ Sega, Yukesk, Chk Chk Chk, Bag Raiders, Rob Threezy, Tiger & Woods, The Teenagers, Ajax, Villains, Horse Meat Disco, Christopher Tubbs, Slap’n'Dash and Ladyhawke. She has played many local club nights alongside MayaVanya, Dick Johnson, Nick D, Recloose, Chris Cox, Philippa, Tim Richards, North Shore Pony Club, Randomplay, Chaos in the CBD, Scratch 22, Paydirt, Cyril Orson, Angela Fisken, Greg Churchill, Daniel Farley and many more. Her DJing has taken her to Tahiti, Australia and seen her play NZ festivals Big Day Out (2011), Rhythm & Vines (2010). At present MTron is the resident DJ and host for the longest running weekly club night in New Zealand – Cassette 9′s ‘Sick Disco’ and has also begun carving a path into production as one half of the Diamond Cutters.
