Danny Codling
Waiheke-based Danny Codling is a singer-songwriter with a unique repertoire of original soulful hip-rock songs and adapted covers. Samoan himself, Danny was selected as one of several NZ acts to perform at the Samoa Jazz Festival in Apia last year, and he attended the London Jazz Festival as a guest of the British Council NZ. He performs regularly on Waiheke and at inner-city Auckland bars, including Home, The Crib, Vino Vino and others. A former Bronze medalist for boxing at the Manchester Commonwealth Games, Danny says music gives him balance in life. He’s known as a charismatic performer who likes to share a laugh with his audience and leave them feeling uplifted.
